Description: Located in the amazon part of Bolivia. From 1976 until today, their population has not hardly suffered changes, although previously had grown thanks to her big possibilities.Is located beside the river Mamore, in which completes the function of fluvial and air port. It is also an important commercial center, especially of derived products of the bovine livestock, as well as of the tropical cultivations: cane of sugar, rice and cotton. Been founded in 1556, moved in 1562 to the place that today occupies, next to the ruins of the palace of the Great one I Wet (or Moxo). Enjoyed prosperity while Jesuit mission was considered until the expulsion of Jesus' Company on the part of the Spanish authorities in the XVIII century.
